When I select my other tracks within logic, such as one with omnisphere on it, that is when the latency comes. as well, are you trying to do it all from the internal drive and not using an external b-righteous so it turns out you were correct, upon further inspection I realized that the latency comes when I don't have the maschine vst track as the selected one. if you do not, it has to use virtual memory with is slower and could give you latency. The next golden question is, do you have enough ram. this may be the issue, for some reason logic may be preventing the sample buffer in maschine from loading into ram. you can see this in the kontakt prefs, but not in the m2 ones. it is supposed to load this in ram, but via a plug-in, it may not since the plug-in is supposed to manage that.

i do not know how you change the preload buffer in logic. if the disc buffer is too high, the latency you hear is it filling the buffer. There is generally a disc buffer for the audio tracks, it has to load this first before it plays the sample. if it occurs in other plug-ins using another controller, it is from logic. if it does occur with the keyboard or other controller, try another plug in, like one of the apple ones. if it does, you know the issues is in logic hosting or midi, if it does not, and does not occur in standalone mode, it is from the micro midi to logic. Plug in another controller or keyboard and use it with maschine via logic, set it to keyboard mode and see if it still occurs.
MRHYTHMIZER LOGIC PRO X STATIC UPGRADE
it is a fact that functions are embedded in the os's after 10.6 that can intentionally cause a need to upgrade to a new computer. I would go back to 10.7/8 and and earlier version of logic for that computer, you will probably get better performance. What it really sounds like is that logic is causing your cpu to overheat or think it is overheated and causing the os, 10.9, to create a bloated kernel task that is slowing all the processing, including core audio processing. if you have another DAW, try it in that so you can isolate the problem.

i gave logic a run, it is well designed for the laptop and easy to see and use there, unlike cubase which needs 2 large monitors and live with it's hard to read text, but on the other side, like my new mbp, it seems the performance under the hood has issues. i doubt it is your mbp core 2 duo not being enough, i use a duo core at times and it works fine, i have had problems with logic saying my brand new mbp was not fast enough when i was just running a single midi file playing a single sample with no effects. there are a lot of issues i hear about this sort of thing on the areas.

are you using a usb sound card via a hub, usb sends data in burst packets that are one way and must complete before the next packet unlike firewire or thunderbolt that streams continuously both ways.
MRHYTHMIZER LOGIC PRO X STATIC DRIVER
it may be an issue between your sound card driver and logic or m2 au hosted in logic. You can modulate any parameter, and each modulator can work as an LFO, audio level follower, enveloper, randomizer and even pitch detector.Depends on what you are doing and your sound card. We all know scratches, but with MRhythmizerMB you can scratch multiple bands using a simple slider, or you can use modulators and the plugin will do it automaticallyĭoes you music sound a little static? Well not anymore. Switch between sequences using the controller you like the most, whether it is MIDI keyboard, MIDI pad-type controller, automation or you can even attach it to a modulator so that it switches automatically! The integrated sequencers will bring life into otherwise static performances. MMultiBandRhythmizer brings your music to life, say goodbye to boring audio performances!ģ6 Sequences for Each Time, Volume and Filter A unique time manipulation effect that uses an integrated sequencer to control time, volume and filters. From gating to glitching, repeating to scratching, all with stunning audio quality and up to 6 distinct bands, that’s MRhythmizerMB.
